Formed in the summer of 2001, when Tamura (Dr etc.) and Kikkawa (B) responded to Fukamizufs (Gt/Vo) solo project.
No live shows were planned in the beginning since this unit was only interested in creating music, which was based on individual practice either at home or at a rehearsal studio. As a result, the completed mini album gtotosh completely reflected Fukamizufs taste of 60fs soft rock.

The song writing focused on melody, the intentionally dubbed analogue sound quality, and the unique atmosphere created by emphasizing the lags in the performance received great reaction mainly from other musicians.

Soon after distributing their music, they stopped playing. Fukamizu joined BROKENSPACE and their sounds that were produced while recording was impossible to be played and reproduced on stage. The band was determined not to do a show unless they were able to express themselves properly.

Some of the members have changed, but Fukamizu and Tamura restarted in 2004. They started off making a demo and doing a live at Shinjuku JAM. They still have the 60s taste, but added samples and a countryside pop band tons. Rumor also has it that they have songs more suitable for shows as well.

New members are BaEOsamu Watanabe, DrEKazunari Yokoo, choEYuko Sekido. The rhythm group provides more grooves and the melody is a bit more fresh, which coincides well with totos unique sense of idleness. It shows the group has a clear vision of what they want to create.
In the age where music can be made easily on a laptop, Totos continues to create original music that is impossible to reproduce. There are many key words and yet it is the lovable pop song that is simple and lyrical. How their deepened individual musical talents will be played out in the boundaries of totos is unpredictablecthe best has yet to come.
